BAL Foundry is a Paris-based digital type foundry designing retail and bespoke typefaces.
Its catalogue unfolds a cast of characters — each with its own history, style and peculiarities — playing a role in the meaning and function of the message.
From skeleton to complete system, each typeface emerges from a dialectical tension between rigour and experimentation, boldness and clarity, forming powerful and enduring voices.
